American actor Alexandra Hetherington Breckenridge. Her career began with minor roles in the teen comedy films Big Fat Liar (2002) and She's the Man (2006). Then, she portrayed the role of reporter Willa McPherson on the series of FX Dirt. She also had a supporting part in FX's short-lived series The Ex List. She was Kaylee an infant Moira in the initial season of on FX's American Horror Story. She was Jessie Anderson on AMC's The Walking Dead as well as Sophie on the NBC series This Is Us. She also voices several characters in the animated series Family Guy. Since her appearance in 2019, she's appeared as Melinda "Mel" Monroe an actress on the Netflix series Virgin River. Breckenridge was a resident of Darien, Connecticut, until when she was 10 when she and her mother relocated to California. They moved around for a year before they settled in Mill Valley. Breckenridge was 13 years old when she started to develop an interest in acting, photography and singing. Breckenridge moved to Los Angeles with her mother at the age of 15 to pursue a career in acting.
