Ali made her mark in the world of television as well. She appeared in a variety of TV series, such as A Man Called Hawk, Wally and the Valentines, The Cosby Show, Getting By Do You Afraid of the Dark?, Kidz In the Wood, Living Single, In the House, and numerous others. Ali's breakthrough project was when she introduced Ashley Banks to life on the hit TV show The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air in the year 1990. It was a huge hit and featured Will Smith and Ali as its lead actors. It was a huge success that ranked 12th on the NBC list of programs that received the most viewers between 1990-1992. Additionally, the show went on to be awarded two highly famous Golden Globe nominations.
