Ashton Whitty and Asia Argento
Ashton Blaise Whitty born October 1 1995 in Berkeley California USA. She is an actor, known as the actress behind Choices (2010), The Heart and Other Small Shapes (2006) as well as Chrissie Mayr's Content House (2022).
Asia Argento was raised in Rome by an acting and film-making family. She pursued both professions her own. When she made her debut, she was just nine years old young in the film of Sergio Citti, Sogni e Bisogni in 1988. she had the leading role in Cristina Comencini's first film, Zoo, and was one of the actors in The Church directed by Michele Soavi. Following that the film, she portrayed Nanni Moritti's daughter in Red Wood Pigeon. Her career took off when she landed the role of Nanni's daughter for the film Close Friends. The film received a great reception during the Cannes International Film Festival. Daria Argento and her mother and one Argento's favorite actors, Daria, played an anorexic teenager who is searching for the murderer of her parents in Trauma. Asia's intense, absorbed performance style was put to good use in Giuseppe Piccioni's Condannato nozze. In 1993, Asia co-starred as Arianna the disabled child in Carlo Verdone's Perdiamoci di vista. It was an intricate and challenging role, for which she won her the David di Donatello. She worked in Peter Del Monte's Compagna di viaggio with Michel Piccoli and won the David di Donatello award as well as the Grolla of Oro. Asia began directing in 1994, releasing two shorts as well as an episode of the movie De Generazione. In 1996 she made an documentary on her father and AbelAsia is a feature film about the cult director Abel Ferrara. In 1998, Asia directed AbelAsia, which won awards by the Rome Film Festival. Asia began her career as a filmmaker in 1999 when she directed Scarlet Diva. She was also the principal screenwriter and actress. The film released on May 1, 2000 in Italy and all over the world. It was honored with an award in Brooklyn during the Williamsburg International Film Festival.
